Use these independent reading bingo cards to help middle school and high school students develop a daily reading habit. Students love the intrigue of independent reading activities with the possibility of reward! If you’re looking for an easy-to-use, high-interest way to engage students in reading, this is it!
With eight different bingo cards (each with different prompts), you have plenty of variety, especially if you want to give different classes different bingo cards, allow students to self-select, or use different cards for different quarters/semesters.
If you are using the digital book bingo cards, students can type in the title and author of each book, or you may want to delete the text boxes and have students insert a picture of each book cover in the appropriate square. Then, students will move a red X to cover the square when they have completed reading the book.
